Gather branches such as grape vine, wisteria, trailing ivy, willow, birch, dogwood or olive.
Clean the branches of their leaves and any other objects that could get in the way.
Start with the largest, thickest branch and form a circle. Secure this with wire. Weave another branch around the first and continue building the wreath to your desired thickness. The first few branches will probably require securing with wire but, once the frame is more robust, other stems will weave in quite neatly.
The frame looks beautiful on its own or decorated with other ingredients from the garden.
